OK truth be told a couple years ago I got a belly ring. I did like it and loved the different belly rings out there. One of the problems is that the belly ring sometimes got caught on my pants and pulled a little bit. (ouch) Also someone told me to use Bactine on it and when I did, it made it shrink up and split. (it didn't hurt but unfortunatley I didn't realize that it was shrinking til it was too late. I have since read that you should never put that spray on your piercing. So stick with the salt water) I think you should get it done ;) If I could flatten my belly a little then I might go do it with ya! :) I am proud of you and think you should go for it! Oops - I hit the "Enter" key too soon. Anyways, if I had the body, I would do a belly button ring. As it was, last year when I turned 40, I surprised even myself & got my first (and so far only) tattoo on my left ankle. My family wouldn't speak to me for a week!! Boy was that worth it!!! Totally Your Decision
I'd say it's really up to you to decide. Guess the one thing about it that makes me cringe, is the thought of it getting caught on a piece of clothing and being ripped out. OUCH!!! Best wishes to you no matter what you decide.
